Hair S.T.E.A.M. DEI Training
Hair S.T.E.A.M. DEI training is designed to help Corporations and Organizations create more inclusive and equitable workplaces for employees who wear their hair in natural styles, such as afros, braids, twists, locs, or cornrows. Delivered in a S.T.E.A.M. framework through hands-on activities and projects that allow participants to learn by doing. The training is also designed to be interactive and engaging so that participants are able to share their own experiences and perspectives. In addition, Hair S.T.E.A.M. DEI training provides support for individuals experiencing microaggressions in the workplace.

Combining science (chemistry), interest, and real life experience (hair design) can be difficult, but the workshop that Hair S.T.E.A.M. Lab offered was excellent! It was hands-on and interactive. Students really got a chance to see and learn about these topics in a fun and engaging way.
